First Holy Communion

Preparation for the sacraments of Eucharist and Reconciliation begins with the child’s baptism and continues as the child experiences faith as it is expressed and practiced in the family and home environment. The sacrament of Reconciliation celebrates the forgiveness of our sins and reconciles us with God and the Church.  In receiving the Eucharist for the first time, we receive the “source and summit of Christian life” and are united with Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, a sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving to our Father.
