Mrs. Verlie’s October Computer and STEM Updates

In Computer classes, Our Lady of Angels students are finishing up their lessons on digital citizenship, including the importance of making positive digital footprints, understanding copyright and fair use, and overall internet safety. Students are also beginning to work on keyboarding and will soon be creating Halloween themed animations!

STEM classes are expanding their design skills through the use of various design sites to build digitally – from virtual Legos to 3D designs on Tinkercad. Seventh and eighth grade students have been working with the video equipment and green screen to pre-record morning announcements for the entire school! Homeroom 8 – 16 will be working on a special Halloween edition of the morning announcements to play next Friday, October 29.
