The Holy Name Society is an organization that meets on a monthly basis during the non-summer months of the year. The organization is a local chapter of the national and diocesan organization. The Holy Name Society coordinates spiritual, service, and social functions within the parish. These functions include an annual fund raising Reverse Raffle in late February to raise money for various projects around the OLA parish, prepares and serves the steak dinner at the annual parish festival in September, and hosts a coffee house. In addition, the organization provides volunteer manpower to assist with various volunteer tasks for the parish on an as needed basis such as recently painting the oratory and sponsoring a writing contest for the school students to earn scholarship money.
