Our Mission

We, the Community of Our Lady of Angels Parish, founded by the Franciscans in 1922, believe in one God, the loving Father who, through his Son, Jesus Christ, has redeemed us and who continues to guide us through the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the Presence of Christ in the Eucharist as the source of grace by which we carry Christ to the world.

Our mission as a faith community is to worship God and, as individuals, to reflect Christ in all of our interactions.

Consistent with the spirit of St. Francis, we are called to minister to people’s spiritual and social needs.

We commit ourselves to worship God within the various expressions of community worship as recognized by the Catholic Church.

We commit to share our gifts and our talents with others in order to be a healing presence of hope and love.

As the children are the perpetuation of the faith community, we commit ourselves to their spiritual and intellectual formation by supporting and enhancing their Catholic education at Our Lady of Angels School.

We commit to supporting opportunities for continuing adult spiritual growth and ministries.

With confidence in the intercession of our patroness, Our Lady of Angels, we dedicate ourselves to the fulfillment of the ideals of this statement.
